About the Role
Seeking applications from experienced Underground Service Crew Miners, who want to join our talented Underground Teams at Leinster on a FIFO 7/7 roster. This position is physically demanding and working conditions can be challenging. Reporting directly to the Shift Supervisor, you will be responsible for contributing to the day-to-day operations to achieve department targets in a safe and efficient manner.
Key responsibilities will include:
Repair and install ventilation services to areas where instructed, which includes hanging ventilation bags of up to 20kg.
Moving/installing secondary ventilation fans.
Install, maintain, repair and extend air, water and dewatering services as per site specifications and mine planning.
Maintain and install pumps underground.
Extend mine leaky feeder.
Plate and tension of secondary ground support (Cable bolts).
Operate IT (Integrated Tool Carrier), EWP (Elevated Work Platform), Forklift and Light Vehicles.
Substantial knowledge of underground practises and safety procedures.
Maintain high standard of housekeeping on equipment and all work areas.
Assist with other underground operations where directed.
Must hold a minimum C class manual driver’s licence.

Able to follow relevant processes and procedures within your department.
