About the Role

Seeking applications from experienced Underground Service Crew Miners, who want to join our talented Underground Teams at Leinster on a FIFO 7/7 roster. This position is physically demanding and working conditions can be challenging.   Reporting directly to the Shift Supervisor, you will be responsible for contributing to the day-to-day operations to achieve department targets in a safe and efficient manner.

Key responsibilities will include:

• Repair and install ventilation services to areas where instructed, which includes hanging ventilation bags of up to 20kg.
• Moving/installing secondary ventilation fans.
• Install, maintain, repair and extend air, water and dewatering services as per site specifications and mine planning.
• Maintain and install pumps underground.
• Extend mine leaky feeder.
• Plate and tension of secondary ground support (Cable bolts).
• Operate IT (Integrated Tool Carrier), EWP (Elevated Work Platform), Forklift and Light Vehicles.
• Substantial knowledge of underground practises and safety procedures.
• Maintain high standard of housekeeping on equipment and all work areas.
• Assist with other underground operations where directed.

About You

• Must hold a minimum C class manual driver’s licence.

• Be a team player who is self-motivated.
