About the Role
As a key member of the Production Team, the Underground Loader Operator is responsible for the movement of all broken material in accordance with forecasted bogging rates. You will be required to operate the loader so as to minimise damage to the machine, tyres and bucket while maintaining level roadways to maximise safety and haulage rates. You will be required to bog out both development and production workplaces as instructed.
An experience Underground Loader Operator, with knowledge of the 1700 and 2900 Elphinstone loaders, is highly desirable.
Basic mechanical knowledge of underground loaders.
Understanding of underground mining operations.
Confidence in communicating clearly and effectively on a two-way radio.
Self-motivated with a strong commitment to working in a team and be multi-skilled.
Ability to obtain a Site Blasting Certificate; and
A valid Australian Manual Drivers' License.'
Position is offered on a FIFO 7/7 roster.
