Duties

Accountabilities will include but not be limited to: –

• Directly supervise the trainers in their support of the port and rail teams to ensure Roy Hill’s objectives are met
• Ensure that all training activities are accurately and professionally carried out by the trainers through the continuous monitoring of performance against set standards
• Deliver group and individual classroom training and “on the job” training as required to port and rail personnel
• Manage training allocation and develop a collaborative and cooperative culture within the mining department to assist in the building of an effective team dynamic

Skills & Experience

For you to achieve outstanding results in this position, your experience may include the following: –

• Previous supervisory experience in a Mining, Port or Rail operation
• Certificate IV in Training and Assessment or equivalent (mandatory)
• Operational and/or maintenance trade qualification
• High level of computer literacy in the use of the Microsoft Office Suite and document management databases and SAP
• Experience working in Vocational Training environments
