Here at Mt Arthur Coal, in the Hunter Valley, we are looking for a Specialist Mining Engineer to join our Technical Services team to help develop safe and efficient mine plans to support the operational teams.
This is a full time role located in the beautiful Hunter Valley. This is your opportunity to have a rewarding career based in a sought after lifestyle location.
Some of your responsibilities will include, however are not limited to;
As the successful candidate, you will have a tertiary qualification in Mining Engineering or similar and relevant experience in an open cut mining operation.
You will be required to liaise, negotiate and influence a range of internal and external stakeholders, so effective collaboration, stakeholder engagement and communication skills are critical.
You will demonstrate a strong commitment to safety and value the importance of building team culture through regular collaboration with team members and key stakeholders.
A strong working knowledge of the following software packages is preferred:
