A number of exciting opportunities have arisen to join the Employee Relations team on fixed-term contract. Working in a small team and reporting to either Manager Employee Relations or Lead Employee Relations, this role will provide coaching and advice to Leaders in all aspect of employee relations. Opportunities are available in Brisbane and Perth.
As a Specialist Employee Relations, you will be responsible for:
You are a passionate and driven HR/ER professional who has a depth of experience across all case management areas of ER including expertise in workplace investigations, performance management and disciplinary processes. You bring a strong knowledge of the Australian industrial relations landscape and legal requirements. Previous exposure to working in mining, heavy industry or professional services environment will be beneficial for this role.
By nature, you are proactive and strategic in your thinking and take a risk-based approach to your work. With proven success in working in a fast-paced and high volume environment, you are agile in your approach whilst being able to deliver on multiple priorities. Your communication, facilitation and influencing skills will be key strengths and you are able to build trusting relationships at all organisational levels.
You will be working in a collaborative and supportive ER team, spending at least 30-50% time in the office, with occasional site travel required (COVID restrictions depending).
