Roster: 8D6R FIFO ex Perth, Busselton, Port Hedland and Broome
We are currently seeking suitably qualified and experienced Shotfirers who have excellent leadership capability to join various sites throughout our Pilbara operations!
Reporting to the Drill and Blast Supervisor, the successful applicants are responsible for ensuring blasting activities are coordinated and conducted in a safe and cost-efficient manner. These positions will also be required to provide sufficient quantity and quality of blasted stock for mining or processing.
Leading Blast crew in daily activities

Meet daily operational targets
Perform all duties as directed by the Drill & Blast Supervisory Team
Operating machinery in a safe and efficient manner
Ensuring all associated equipment is maintained in a safe condition
Ensuring Drill & Blast patterns are kept to a high standard
Using techniques and procedures that improve performance and cost efficiencies
Qualifications and Experience
WA Class C Driver's Licence
Dangerous good security clearance
Current WA Shotfirer's Licence
Experience running shots – essential
Mobile equipment operation in mining industry – desirable
Knowledge of Mine Safety & Inspection and OHS Act/Regs
Basic computer skills
Time management skills
