Security Officer Information Session

We are hosting an OMEGA Security Information Session in our Perth offices for NEW Security positions on our Remote Mining villages

Omega Security Services is part of Compass Group which is the largest and fastest-growing hospitality and support services company in Australia.

We are currently seeking Full time and Casual FIFO Security Officers in Western Australia’s remote sites, flying out from Perth.

We are seeking experienced applicants with a Security Officer background. Those with experience working across military, policing and aviation security are encouraged to apply.

You will be responsible for the following: 

• Conducting regular foot or mobile patrols on the sites
• Provide basic response for fire/security alarms, anti-social behaviour, room lockouts and basic first aid
• Perform gatehouse and access control duties
• Monitor CCTV
• Provide basic crowd control
• Compiling Security Audit and Reports
• 2 years experience (preferred

To be considered for one of these positions you must possess ALL of the following:

• Certificate II (or above) in Security Operations
• Current Security Officers License WA
• Current Crowd Control License WA
• Current Senior First Aid Certificate
• Construction White Card WA
• Current Manual Driver’s License
• National Police Clearance
• First Aid Certificate
• RSA

The following are desirable and will be extremely advantageous:

• MSIC
• Aviation Screening Qualification
• Operate Light Vehicle Certification
• Fire Extinguisher Training
• CCTV and Operations Centre experience
• Confined Space Emergency (Fire Extinguisher PUAWER008B)
• Traffic Management Training (RIIWHS302D)
• Certificate III Security Operations
