Reliability Engineer

Downer Power and Energy provide maintenance, turnaround, shutdown and sustaining capital programs for power generation and industrial operations across Australia and operate across industries including petrochemical and refining, bulk materials handling and processing, coal, iron ore and minerals and metals.

An opportunity has arisen with the Downer Power and Energy Oil and Gas division for an experienced Reliability Engineer to join our team in the Perth CBD office with some occasional travel to site.

Job purpose:

The prime objective of the Reliability Engineer is to identify the pro-active maintenance requirements for assets to increase asset productivity, maximise reliability performance in a sustainable way and to capture all opportunities to improve processes while reducing total cost.

ABOUT YOU

To be successful in this position you must have previous experience working in a similar position on a large LNG project in the Pilbara undertaking Facilities Maintenance activities

You will also possess:

• Bachelor Degree in Engineering
• Minimum 5 years’ maintenance experience
• Advanced computer skills in MS Office Software
• Extensive knowledge of Maintenance Management System
• Knowledge of Maintenance process and activities
