About the Role
The main function of the Process Technician is to safely operate parts of the plant, which affect control of the nickel concentrator process to enable the process plant to achieve business plan production targets.
The role will include learning and operating process plant sections that produce a high-quality nickel concentrate product. These sections include Crushing, grinding circuit operation, filtration and drying circuit operation, flotation processes, and ultimately potential training and operation of a complex distributed control system.

Nickel West Leinster
Nickel West Leinster is located 375 kilometres north of Kalgoorlie in Western Australia. The operation sources nickel ore from the Perseverance Underground Mine and Cliffs Underground Mine before crushing and processing to produce a concentrate. The Leinster Village and Township offer a unique lifestyle with all the modern conveniences – an Olympic size swimming pool, health and fitness centre, racecourse and even an 18-hole golf course.
