About the role
The role will engage with Traditional Owners (and their Corporations) on the planning of heritage surveys and act as MinRes’ representative where there are significant heritage constraints to be discussed.
The role will have direct input into the development and implementation of MRL’s heritage management system.
A key part of the role will be the building and maintenance of strong relationships with Traditional Owners groups and individuals both on the ground and at the corporate level.
The role will help assure the quality of spatial information delivered by heritage consultants and assist in maintaining that data once incorporated into MinRes systems.
The role will assist in the coaching and mentoring of Heritage Advisors to improve their understanding and abilities around cultural heritage management.
The role will be responsible for the day-to-day implementation and monitoring the relevant components of MinRes’ Heritage Management Plans and Community Relations Strategy to help develop industry-leading practices in cultural heritage management.
