As the Head of Integrated Global Operations you will provide leadership to multi-disciplinary teams with focus on creating and delivering value. You will integrate Technology and our customers across BHP by maximising system availability, removing waste, improving performance across Technology and focusing on Technology value chain optimisation.
You will be accountable for:
You have exceptional people and communication skills to lead high performing teams, in order to support the delivery of key strategic initiatives, cultivated from your managerial experience and comprehensive understanding of the Technology function. Your inclusive and enabling leadership is backed by a strong focus on safety and health, inclusion and diversity, productivity and maximizing the benefit of Technology. Your solid understanding of Technology is supported by relevant tertiary qualifications and extensive experience in delivering outstanding results.
You have an overriding commitment to health, safety and welfare in the workplace. You will be confident in multitasking, leading and mentoring multi-disciplinary diverse teams, managing and meeting multiple and competing demands and deadlines, and working through change management in a complex environment. You will be able to demonstrate strong business acumen and have an understanding of the key drivers of shareholder value.
You are forward-thinking and strategic. A performance and achievement orientated professional, your technical strengths will be complemented by excellent engagement and communication skills, high energy levels, and an action-oriented attitude. You relate well to people with an engaging style allowing you to communicate confidently both up and down in the organisation, to establish credibility and to build strong working relationships.
