Nickel West is one of the world’s largest producer of Nickel Sulphate, a key ingredient in lithium-ion batteries and as the world’s largest producer of nickel briquettes and nickel powder, Nickel West is leading the new-energy revolution in Western Australia and moving the world towards a cleaner more sustainable future.
The Nickel business employs over 2500 people from five operations across Western Australia comprising of nickel underground and open-cut mines, concentrators, a smelter and a refinery, with future plans to expand our operations with new mines in the northern Goldfields and a large nickel sulphate plant in Kwinana.

About the role
Over the upcoming months we will have a number of permanent roles available across our Kalgoorlie Smelter and Kambalda Concentrator in the Goldfields. There are various working models and residential rosters available across these locations to suit your lifestyle and career pathway.
Kalgoorlie and the surrounding town of Kambalda are positioned at the heart of the Goldfields, with a vibrant supportive culture, full of mining heritage. Utilising your rostered time off, the location is perfect to explore all that both WA and Australia has to offer!
The City of Kalgoorlie/Boulder offers modern shopping facilities including big brand and local independent retailers, 4wd & cycle tracks, plenty of parks and playgrounds and schooling for all ages up to high school.
