About the role
Residentially based in Port Hedland with a family friendly roster (4 days on, 4 nights on and then 8 days off.
Reporting to the Locomotive Overhaul Supervisor, your duties will include:
Servicing, maintaining, troubleshooting, repairing and overhauling Locomotives
Safely performing maintenance
Following specific maintenance and compliance procedures
Undertaking training as required to gain new skills
Complying with all mine and rail safe working requirements
Take personal responsibility for helping the team to achieve expected results
As the successful candidate you will possess the following:
1SAP Work Management processes related to work identification, execution and the capturing of related historical transactional data into 1SAP
A Grade Electrical Worker’s License
A high commitment to safety, quality and attention to detail and procedure
A strong desire to learn and a high level of enthusiasm to develop a range of new skills
Comprehensive reading and writing skills
A teamwork mentality to achieve result
