About the Role
We are enthusiastically seeking a talented professional to join our team in the role of Electrical Reliability Engineer to provide improvement initiatives and operational direction of the fixed plant assets for Nickel West Concentrator operations. You will shape and manage operational site network infrastructure, conduct asset reliability improvements in a cost-effective manner while working in a team of reliability specialist.
You will play a leading role in ensuring the consistent application of current electrical standards, procedures, strategies and practices on site. In addition, you will assist maintenance execution teams with resolving equipment breakdowns as required.
Please note some of your responsibilities will require exposure in the Underground mining environments at Leinster operations.
About You

Additional desirable skills include:
- Tertiary qualified in electrical engineering;
- Relevant experience in High Voltage and Distribution Network Operations;
- Relevant experience in Electrical Design incorporating field device changes with associated schematic drawings including integration with SCADA systems;
- Relevant experience Crushing, Concentrator, Filter & Drying plants;
- Mine-site experience in Underground Material Handling Systems, Vertical Hoisting & Conveyance plants would be favourable;
- Experience in Protection Design and Testing incorporating Arc Flash philosophy would be favourable;
- Experience in Testing and Commission of Primary and Secondary Electrical Systems would be favourable;
- Experience in functional safety systems will be well regarded;
- Excellent problem solving and fault-finding skills;
- A strong knowledge and commitment to electrical safe work practices and electrical maintenance strategies;
- Experience with reliability engineering and risk management techniques is mandatory;
- SAP experience.
