Fortescue’s Christmas Creek mine is located on the traditional lands of the Nyiyaparli people.
Roster: 7D7N7R FIFO or 7D/7N/14R ex Perth, Busselton, Port Hedland, Broome, Karratha – Select your roster preference at application.
You will be required to carry out the safe execution of scheduled maintenance and repair to a range of large-scale mining equipment supporting Fortescue's mining operations. You will be responsible for carrying out repairs and inspections on mining fleet with particular focus on safety, quality, and efficiency.

Maintenance of large-scale mining equipment (Ancillary Machinery)
Diagnostics & Fault Finding
Workshop and Field duties
Work in conjunction with all Mobile Maintenance teams to achieve 100% scheduled compliance.
Ensure all activities undertaken are carried out in accordance with company safety policy and procedures
Qualifications and Experience
Australian recognized HD Fitter Trade Certificate
Previous experience working in a mining or heavy industry
Mobile Plant experience is essential specifically experience working on Caterpillar D10T/D11T Dozers, 854K wheel Dozers, 777 and 785 trucks, 16 & 24m Graders, 994H and 994K Loaders & Komatsu WA1200 Loaders & Liebherr
Strong diagnostic skills
Repair and service of production excavators
High regard for safety
Forklift, and Dogging tickets (desirable)
Current HR Drivers Licence
Ability to work as part of a team
