Following a number of major project wins and with a strong pipeline of work, our Perth based Building Services team are currently looking for an MEP Design Manager who can provide both technical excellence and project management experience, partnering with our clients across diverse multidisciplinary projects in Transport, Healthcare, Education, Commercial, Aviation, Civil Infrastructure and Defence.
Our ideal candidate will be an accomplished engineer and leader, managing a team of building services engineers through a number of different market sectors providing necessary support for their career, whilst enhancing your own through valuable strategic input generating growth for our WA business. Primary duties will include sharing your technical expertise, strategic project planning whilst mentoring and developing our engineers and essential technical input across our projects.
This opportunity would suit an accomplished Engineer with a leadership background in Building Services and a passion for people management in a diverse consultancy environment.
As our MEP Design Manager in Building Services, you will also have the following attributes:
+ Bachelor of Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical or other Building Services-related)
+ Experience working within a top tier Building Services Consultancy and leading major projects
+ Proven experience with user groups and partnering with a variety of building users to facilitate and deliver optimal design
+ Proven exposure to actively participate in business and strategic planning activities
+ Demonstrable background in leading a team in a management role
+ Confident and demonstrable commercial acumen, strong business analysis skills and the ability to interpret and understand complex financial systems and reports
+ Experience leading and delivering hydraulic, mechanical or electrical services design across a broad range of sectors
+ Exceptional levels of written and oral communication.
+ CPEng – Highly advantageous;
+ RBP Accredited – Highly advantageous
